Why would you need to create a new application in a Bizagi project?

I am defining a new Bizagi project in Bizagi Studio.

What situation would mean an new application would be the best solution to create a hierarchy of processes rather than a new category in an existing application?

I checked the help and the Bizagi Project recommends an application be created for each group managing the processes but not the reasons why that is the case. Does a new group help segment management, if so how?

Dear David,

Bizagi gives the option to make the areas independent using applications. A process created in one application is not reusable in another application. Permissions per application can be independent to allow end users to have their processes separate.

The categories are used to organise and structure processes, but these are only organisational and project structure.

If you want to reuse all the processes, then we suggest one single application.

How is the independent nature of processes in separate applications visible? For example is the scope of the BA Business Administrator role over processes per application?

It would be good to be able to delegate administration to processes at the application level.

Hi Juan

my question was really around the delegation of administration of the process not the delegation of an activity in the process.

For example the right to be able to update a Constant Definition for a process in a specific application by a group of users with certain administration rights over the processes in that application as shown in the attached.

Is this possible?
