WebApplication not loading content

I recently was forced to upgrade Bizagi to the 10.0.1.118 because my current Web Application installation wouldn't start. After the upgrade, and the troubles to configure I finally got it to load.

The problem is that now after logging in Bizagi is just stuck apparently loading its frames, but after about 15minutes it still hasn't loaded anything. Any idea what the problem might be?

I have IIS 6.0 on Windows Server 2003 and up until today, with version 9.0 everything was working fine.

Hello Luis,

I have the same problem. Is there a way to force regenerating the web application?

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

I have the same problem here as the attached image shows.

What should I do? Is there any log file to detect the problem? It occurred to me before and I couldn't solve it, so I re-created the entire application. It would be so frustrating to do it again!

Please help!

Bizagi version: 10.4.0.1031

Dear Fabrício,

In order to best help you to solve this issue, please explain your environment. Are you using SOA layer? Sometimes, when a project is trying to connect to a web service and it is not available, it is very slow to load. Please check your web services.

In addition, please check the message that appears in event viewer (eventvwr). Some problems can be related to database server. When a project is trying to load and it is too slow, the reason can be the database.

Thank you in advance,

Regards

Hello guys.

I finally found what the problem was following Juan's tip of investigating Windows Event Viewer.

A couple of facts:

1) My Bizagi instance does not integrate with other systems. The process I deployed is very simple.

2) I found no errors inspecting Bizagi traces or application logs.

Therefore, I checked out events for applications on Windows Event Viewer and found the error attached.

As you can see, it was related to the time zone.

In order to solve the issue, I did the following:

1) In the development server, I configured the time zone to (default)

2) I deployed the process again to the production server

After that, everything worked just fine.

Nonetheless, I must say that debugging Bizagi is definitely cumbersome, as the error log could be basically anywhere: Bizagi installation directory, Project directory, Local Bizagi configuration directory, IIS log directory, Windows Event Viewer.

Moreover, the documentation found at http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?error_control_and_diagnostics_.htm only briefly mentions Windows Event Viewer.

I suggest you guys update that documentation and clarify what information goes where in a simple table, so the modeler saves effort.

Thank you for your help.
