Simulation error " Please ensure that your model is compliant
Hi,
I am trying to run the simulation and keep getting the same error.."The simulation has failed. Please ensure that your model is comlplaint to BPMN2.0".
I have attached my process diagram and the the error screenshot.
thanks
Gowri
Any update?
We tried the simulation feature with another process sample "Purchase Request" available in Process Xchnage. First attempt with default config for simulation (step 1 in simulation - process validation) worked well without any warning. As soon as i modified the "Max arrival count", and tried to run the simulation..the error window pops up "Not compliant etc...."
Are we missing something? Thanks in advance.
Best regards
Gowri
Dear Gowri,
We have tested a similar diagram you have and it works correctly. Please, send us a copy of your model and give us your Bizagi version.
Thank you in advance
Here, is the patient response process diagram
The version of modeler is 2.9.0.4
Any update
Any update?
Dear Gowri,
We are analyzing your model. As soon as possible, we will write back.
Regards
Thanks appreciate it.
Any update on this ? thnaks
Dear Gowri,
We escalated it to our support team in order to analyze what is going on there. As soon as possible, we will write back.
Regards
Simulation fails always in version 2.9.0.4 32bit
- With a single task process
- With Bizagi example 'Simulation_example_Technical_support.bpm'
- With any model (for example 'Patient response.bpm' )

Dear Santiago,
The simulation of Bizagi works well in almost all diagrams, just that in some specific cases, there are some characters or lines that are no together. In the following article explains how to simulate and some considerations: simulation_in_bizagi. We invite you to check your diagram with those considerations.
If the problem continues, let us know just sending your diagram to modeler@bizagi.com or attach it to this post.

Dear Gowri,
The issue is related to the distribution of processing time. The user chooses normal distribution which allows negative values in simulation. Simulation engine does not support negative values for time and for that reason it cannot end successfully. We suggest you to choose truncated normal distribution which allows to set minimum and maximum values. For this case, we suggest to put zero as minimum value, so that simulation runs without errors.

Hi Juan,
I have the same error message as mentioned above by Gowri., which I don't know how to debug and correct.
I have tried the solution you recommended above, however the outcome has not changed, I still get the same error.
I have attached my process diagram. Can you please assist me ?
Dear Dumitru,
You need to click on Time Analysis, the second step of simulation, and select the bar button:
Then, you need to select "truncated normal distribution" instead of "Normal Distribution", which allows to set minimum and maximum values. For this case, we suggest to put zero as minimum value.

I'm facing the same problem. "This simulation has failed: Please ensure that your model in compliant to the BPMN2.0 standard and etc..."
I even tested the simulation by model presented in :http://help.bizagi.com/process-modeler/en/index.html?simulation_in_bizagi.htm
however, result was the same. Could you please help me?
when i start my simulation, i got same error message with Gowry, but my simulation not running just stuck at start icon, could you please help me :(
Dear users,
We apologise for the late reply. We are currently at version 3.8 of Bizagi Modeller, so I expect that the issues you were experiencing has been resolved.
A new version was recently released, and you can get this from https://portal.bizagi.com/en/downloads .
Please let us know if this has resolved your problem, we look forward to your response.
Kind regards,
David Foster
