Removing extended attributes that are not required for a specific subprocess (level)

Is it possible to remove extended attributes that are not required for a specific (level) subprocess? I have a very long list of attributes now because each level of my process requires different information. Level 1 has three attributes, Level 2 has 5 attributes, Level 3 has 10 attributes. So when I get to Level 4 before I even add the attributes required I already have a list of 18, most of which are not required for the lower level. When I go back to my level 1 process all 18 attributes are now displayed even though I only want three. This is confusing for people who are trying to use the model. When I try to remove the ones that are not required for a specific level, it deletes them from all of them or throws an error saying that it is used elsewhere.

Hello Olivia, thank you for contacting us. Yes, you can delete an extended attribute, if you create it, just need to click in the attribute name, a tab with option will be displayed, select the trash can to delete the attribute.

Please check attached picture.

Thank you for your time.

Hi Juan,

Is there a way to have attributes that are only connected to a specific process instead of an object type?

I understand that I can delete an extended attribute but it is linked to an object type - pool, diagram, subprocess, and so on. If I delete the attribute from a process where the information is not required, it is deleted from all objects of that type or cannot be deleted because there is information in that attribute in a different process.

The good news is when the process is published any attribute that doesn't have content is not included. But my BAs have to sort through all the attributes instead of having a short list of applicable attributes.

Many thanks for your help.

Yes Olivia, all you need to do is select (click) in the process name, and in the properties menu you will see the Extended attributes, please see attached picture.
