Possible to change a Gateway to an Event keeping the properties

We have about 40 different gateways in our processmap, each described with exteneded properties. However there has been request to change them all to events. I don't there is a way of doing that in Bizagi perhaps it could be done as in MS Powerpoint where you can

1) Select a shape.

2) Select Format > Edit Shape > Change Shape (and then select the shape).

Currently you can for a Gateway change to another GateWay type - but you can't change to an event. So we have to recreate them and enter all the properties again.

An alternative solution would be to have a "copy properties" function, where you could select a symbol (for example a gateway) and then have an option like "copy extended properties" and then select another symbol and do a "paste extended properties".
