Mac OS Version
Dear Sirs,
Since a long time ago that I'm using BPM Modeler promoting all the times this good tool to my employees and colegues.
However, now that I've changed to Mac OS I cannot anymore use the BPM Modeler.
Will Bizagi develop a version to Mac OS?
Thank you in advance,
Nelson Gama
Yes, I also would like to use it in a Mac OS platform - it would be great to have a Mac vesion. Please let us know if there is one and we are not aware of.
Many Thanks
Rodrigo
Yea, I too - I missed an App for iOS in the Appstore... Modelling BPM via touch NUI seem to be easier than clicking. There are some other Apps like Bizagi but they have no Client-Version for Windows or OSX and have no Database-Backend...
Many Thanks
Gordon
Let me know too. I need it for mac.
Thanks,
Ricardo
Yes! It would be nice to have a it on my mac. It's painful to work on mac and pc with windows
simultaneously.
Your modeler is the most useful one on market, you have to have a version for Mac OS X!
Dear Users,
Indeed we agree with you that this would be a great feature for the Process Modeler, and understand as well that using it along with Windows does not always fill all the expectations around Mac.
However, we will have to thoroughly analyze this possibility, and we do not have an ETA for this feature yet.
Best regards,
Hi Daisuke,
Bizagi has been saying the same thing for the last two years ...... please please please guys and gals ...... we need a mac version now!!!
If I wanted to use a virtual drive to use windows on a mac ..... I would have stayed with windows laptop. As has been said previously, Mac is perfect in terms of speed and sheer processing power. I really miss Bizagi and have found no other modelling programme that comes even close.
kind regards
John
Hello Daisuke,
If you need more voices to make it happen, here is mine.
Mac OS X is now the standard OS for many professionals and I'd love to have the perfect usability of Bizagi in my Mac.
You have the best modeler and Mac users really want to use it.
Another voice here - Bizagi produces beautiful models which fit perfectly into the Mac OS X aesthetic - clearly the graphic designers working on the product appreciate how consistent and coordinated visual style benefits creators and consumers alike. I use a Mac because I want to produce appealing content without fighting the computer to do so. Bizagi Modeller is the most Mac-like product I use on when I'm forced to use a Microsoft PC - it's wasted on Windows!
Yes, please. It's a shame cannot to use my Mac to work in Bizagi.
As a Process Design Engineer with a predominantly Unix Background I utilize alternates to Windows all the time. For many years I preferred Linux and found an abundance of open-source or freeware to meet my needs. More recently I have moved to Mac (a *nix based OS) and there are many alternatives similar to Linux I use everyday.
That said I am impressed with bizagi and I too would like to see it available on Mac X OS. For now I'll need to use an alternative that works across multiple platforms and then import them into bizagi. The shop I currently work for is primarily Windows so I have no choice. I do work a lot from home and tried bizagi on a virtual Windows via vmware-fusion on my iMac but it is a bit sluggish though the system resources are plentiful i'd prefer using the Mac OS X directly.
Looking forward to the Mac version if that happens for the bizagi Modeler you can be sure there will be an interest in upgrading to the entire bizagi suite in the future.
thanks
If you're not planning to release a Mac version (and I think you're not), at least work to release a "bottled configuration" to run Bizagi on Mac/Linux using Wine/CrossOver. I've tried to install Bizagi on said software and is not possible right now.
It looks like you just ignore Mac users. Like "oh we're too good! you guys love us, so find a way to use our product because you don't have another option"... but the truth is, there are other options. So, if you want more customers and keep what you have, bring a Mac client, or at least a bottle for CrossOver.
Hi Raul,
You may as well stop wasting your breath on crying for a mac version of Bizagi. I agree with you in that Bizagi has no plans for the introduction of a mac version. They have been making idle promises for the last 4 years to my knowledge. They are obviously making too much money from their windows users to worry about mac users.
Another voice here - Please, make a version for mac osx !!
Mac version is long due... this 'idea' is open for a very long time and keeps getting supporters! Please do something for Mac users around the world.
Definitely need a version for Mac - can you let us know when this will be available?
On my Business Analysis postgraduate programme 80% of group are people using Macs and, after using Bizagi tool on University, they will choose other solutions that are able to run on OS X (like Cubetto, Eclipse, etc.).
Pitty.
Mac is definitely increasing its marketshare in the B2B domain. A quality product needs a quality platform to run on: Mac OS X
If development for the Mac takes substantial resource away from the current Bizagi development model, then this should not be entertained.
Apple is a small part of the whole requirement. Apple chose to 'break out', 'be individual' - away from the 'standard' - it must follow that Apple develop it's own 'Bizagi' tool, if it believes that it is that special.
Apple will never gain maximum 'market share' - it is too controlling (and I for one refuse to be controlled by any corporation). Remember, Apple would not exist except for the generosity of Microsoft gifting them vast amounts of money when they went bust - they are not enjoying massive financial success because of a good technical model - but because of a good marketing model - a model that does not encourage free enterprise.
Please DO NOT pander to Apple.
Agree with the Mac advocates in this string. I've spent significant time in the last year with the top software development companies in the US on various projects (and I also spent 22 years at IBM). Without exception, the top Silicon Valley, NY, Boston, Austin, etc. firms all have their developers using Macs. Yes, you can use a VM but we are now quickly approaching a time when tool vendors that do not have a very native, responsive Mac version are going to be left behind. JMO.
Seriously, it's 2017. Most of the top software dev firms in the valley, NY, Boston, Austin, etc. all use macs for the primary workstations for their developers. Bizagi is a fantastic BPM product but many will not mess around with creating a VM to use the tool. Please create a native mac version asap. It will be the best move you've made in several years. And, by the way, most, if not all, of the people commenting here love your product and we are just trying to help you (and us) be more productive and successful by providing our opinions here. I'm 100% certain that there are many people who just move on and choose another native mac tool without providing any feedback.
Hello, I was willing to download Bizagi to start using it, maybe even sharing the benefits of the tool to other colleagues at work, then all of a sudden I figure out that Bizagi cannot run in a Mac. Seriously? Good luck with the future of the tool and company... There are several forums where people complain about this fact and nothing is done. I repeat: good luck.
Time to change "under consideration" to planned? Working at a +15000 IT consultancy where more than 30% of the people is using Mac. Apparently we and our customers are not interesting for Bizagi products. Or?
No bizagi for osx ? How is this possible, everywhere more and more mac's ...
Not working on my Mac, So many people has already told this and nothing has been done. Disappointed
6 years ago this idea was shared.. Still no information when the mac version is being released?
Hi Andrea,
Since Bizagi is a .NET app no major retooling is required to make it work at MacOS by using Xamarin (it would be an amazing project for programmers that love challenges as myself), Microsoft could see this as a success story and this would help to spread Bizagi as the platform for all thing BPMN related.
Best Regards,
