Is there a description of Bizagi's extension of BPMN specification?
Bizagi used some extension of the BPMN scheme within extensionElements tags.
I was wondering if a description of this extension exists somewhere?
Note: I tried to access http://www.bizagi.com/definitions/_2014123108392 which is the link provided in the .bpmn file for the targetNamespace attribute, but this url leads to a 404 page.
Dear Laurent,
In order to documeting your process, you can add information to each element. Also, you can add extended attributes:
For further information: http://help.bizagi.com/processmodeler/en/index.html?documenting_a_process.htm
For further information: http://help.bizagi.com/processmodeler/en/index.html?extended_attributes.htm
Doing this, you will be able to document and edit data of each element.
Best Regards
Dear Juan,
thanks for your reply!
My question did not concern the way to add documentation to my process, which is done so far.
It is more about the bpmn exported file provided by Bizagi.
Here is an example of my problem.
I created a simple process, and added a description (see basic.PNG)and an extended attribute (see extended.PNG) on a task.
In the bpmn file (see mapRelease.txt which is the exported bpmn file, with extension renamed to be uploaded), a tag has been created for my task. This XML tag contains two other tags:
- 'documentation' that contains the description I wrote
- 'extensionElements' that contains Bizagi specific tags concerning colors
My question: does a document exists that explains Bizagi's specific tags (name, attributes, values, occurencies, etc.)?
Note: the extended attribute I filled for my task appears nowhere in the bpmn file. Could that be considered as a bug?
Laurent
Any update on my question?
Dear Laurent,
We do not have a formal description of extensions to BPMN Modeler. The namespace is being used to include only those extensions.
Regards
