Dear Ahmed,

The percentage of use of a resource is the percentage of time that a resource is busy with respect to the total time that it is available. For example, if I have 2 instances of an application and run a simulation for 1 day (24 hours) and the percentage of use of the resource for the simulation is 0.06%, then:

  • The total time resource availability is 48 hours (2880 minutes).
  • The total time the resource was busy was 2880 * 0.0006 = 1.728 (1 minute 43 seconds)

Therefore a very low number in this figure indicates that the resource is idle most of the simulation time and is being underutilized.
