how do i represent a button click
Hi all,
I'm new to Bizagi Modeler and had more of a conceptual question.
Say I had a screen with some text fields which need to be validated. The user enters the text and presses a button which validates their entries and moves them to the next screen.
If they enter invalid text an error dialog appears.
How do I represent all of this in a process model?
Thanks for any help
Mark
Dear Mark,
There is not a way to explain exactly as you need. However, Bizagi uses some attributes called extended_attributes. They are the best way to add documentation explaining what you need.
If you need to automate your process, the best to show it correctly is Suite of Bizagi. With this software you can implement button and dialogs. For further information: running_your_workflow.

Thanks Juan.
I meant from a business process conceptual point of view. See the attached image. Would that be the correct way to represent it?
Dear Mark,
Activities represent work or tasks carried out by members of the organization. Bizagi Studio only supports some of the types of activities. You can define your tasks as User Task, Service Task, Receive Task, Send Task, Script Task or Manual Task.
I think that the best task for your question is User Task according to this article: activities.
To select the correct type of task for you, please follow this image:
