Error (400) received when trying to publish to SharePoint 2010

I'm trying to publish to SharePoint 2010 and am getting the following error message: An error has occurred while publishing to SharePoint. Cannot create folder. The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request

Dear Kay,

Please ensure that the specified user for the Sharepoint-publish has the necessary rights in that folder.

If you have already reviewed this, you may also want to check out this user's configuration (for instance, if it belongs to more than 1 active directory).
