Elearning Thanks and questions

Hi,

I am reading the elearning pages and first would like to thanks for the good training.

I have questions regarding "Workflow Patterns using BizAgi Process Modeler.pdf" document "MODELING WORKFLOW PATTERNS"

1- I have read in another place that is it a good practice to always use the marker X inside an exclusive gateway. This is not the case in the document.

2- In chapter "WCP 9-Structured Discriminator" the sentence in the Exemple is disturbing:

"To grant the credit to the employee, it must be approved by his or her boss or by the financial area"

Looks like there are 3 choices.

IMHO this sentence should be

"To grant the credit to the employee, it must be approved by the boss or by the financial area"

There are in fact only 2 choices

3- In chapter "WCP 30-Structured Partial Join" the sentence in the Exemple is disturbing:

"To grant the credit to the employee, it must be approved by his or her boss and by the financial area"

IMHO this sentence should be

"To grant the credit to the employee, it must be approved by the boss and by the financial area"

More important, in the both above chapters the diagrams:

"Diagram 9.Structured discriminator pattern example" and

"Diagram 10.Structured Partial Join pattern example" are the same.

IMHO, as in the "WCP 30-Structured Partial Join" the rule is "the boss and by the financial" the decision must be 2 parallel gateways.

As "When both of them approve the request..." this is a parallel gateway.

What do you think?

Thank you for your comments.

We will update the document to reflect the changes in the sentences you mention.

Regarding the use of the same image, we have taken your idea into account and changed the image to make it more clear. In the description, we do mention that the split can be performed by a Parallel or Inclusive Gateway.

Thank you.
