Editing the dictionary

How can I edit the language dictionary if a misspelled word gets saved accidentally?

Dear James,

To resolve this question, please check the following image:

For further information:

Available language dictionaries are:

  • German (Deutsch)
  • English
  • Spanish (Español)
  • French (Française)
  • Italian (Italiano)
  • Dutch (Nederlands).
  • Portuguese (Português)
  • Russian (Pусский)

Best Regards

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough in my question, I want to open the file where the custom dictionary is stored and directly edit it. As it stands, I have two choices, (one) leave the mispelled word in the dictionary, or (two) reset the dictionary and start over from scratch. We have a lot of custom words (industry specific) and acronyms so a reset would create a lot of rework.

I have the same problem.

And I think the question was clear enough.

Still waiting for a compatible response.

Dear David,

We apologise for the late reply, I appreciate that the situation will have changed since your last comment.

There is not currently an action that lets you edit the dictionary word by word, but you can reset a dictionary, which will delete all manually added entries. To do this:

- Add an annotation to your diagram

- Type in a misspelled word

- Click to perform a spelling review

- Click to reset the dictionary

This will delete all added entries.

Details about the Bizazgi Modler menu options are at this page:

Please let us know if this has resolved your problem, we look forward to your response.

Kind regards,

David Foster
