Dear Lesley,

According your question, Bizagi offers the possibility to share your diagrams with others modeling tools that use BPMN notation. You can export your diagrams to the BPMN 2.0 xml format. Then, Bizagi Modeler also allows importing diagrams created with other modeling tools including Bizagi that BPMN xml 2.0 format to Bizagi Modeler.

Please check these articles:

After that, you can change the sub-process as Reusable and then select the process in the properties of the sub-process.Regards

Hi Juan,Thank you for getting back to me. I have tried this and it does work however the extended attributes (i.e. attached documents, forms or other links etc.) which are relevant to the exported process map are not copied which means they are not available when the file is imported. This means that they will all need to be set up again in the copied map which for some maps will be quite a task for the map author. Is there any way these attributes can also be copied so they can be imported into the maps as well? Many thanksLes

Dear Lesley,

It is possible to share the Extended Attributes that you created in one model and use then in other models. This allows you to maintain a uniform standard in your documented processes by always utilizing the information in the same manner. To do this you will need to export a file from Bizagi Modeler to a chosen folder, where the extended attributes will be saved. Then import the file to the model where you want those attributes to be used. Please check this article: http://help.bizagi.com/processmodeler/en/index.html?exporting_importing_attributes_between_models.htm

Hi Juan, Again thank you for getting back to me. I have tried this and the extend attributes do come across which is great but I was also hoping that the hyperlinks to the forms we have put in the 'Extended' tab of the properties section of the map would also come across. Is there any way of not only getting the attributes i.e. the information recorded in the 'Basic' tab but also the hyperlinks we have put in - see screen shot attached:Again many thanks for your help it is very much appreciated.Les

Dear Lesley,

Bizagi Modeler is able to export the extend attributes, however it does not export the content of those attributes. If you mind, we invite you to create it as an idea for a future release.
