Can I model a process with two start events?

Yes, you may include 2 different starts events or choose to use the multiple start event.

Whichever choice is Ok. For instance, if you want to go for a more visual approach and you have identified that only through a received letter or uploaded image this Process starts, using 2 different events will provide an easier graphical explanation of the model.

Giovanni,I want to use two start events, but get an error message on validation of the process diagram: "Only a None Start Event is allowed for each process".I want to edit text on the start events to explain the start trigger for the process and I need multiple starts. Visually and graphically it is much clearer to use several start events.Is there a reason why I get this error on validation? What is the solution?Regards,Geert

The start event indicates the start of the process. You can start a process with one of the following Start events. Furthermore, if you want to include two Start Events to a process, you may include one normal Start Event and another start event else like: one Timer Start Event or Message Start event . Bizagi Studio supports several start events: Start Event (it does not have any particular behavior), Message Start Event, Timer Start Event, Signal Start Event and so on.
