Yes, it is possible to import and export the extended attributes definition by using XPDL.
Keep in mind that you can import/export paired-up attributes (i.e., name, value). Hence, table values are not imported or exported. This includes importing or exporting milestones, artifacts (i.e, data objects), or embedded files, as these elements are not actually covered by the XPDL standard format. In addition to this, presentation actions are not exported as well because they are a propietary feature of Bizagi Process Modeler.

Hello, I have a question about Extended attributes in XPDL.
I added new extended attribute on a lane. When I export my model to XPDL, the extended attribute is not exportet. Attribute type is number. Other extended attributes on tasks, events are exported OK. Is there maybe a bug in this case or is this not supported - but there is a node <ExtendedAttributes />. I also noticed that description from lane is not exported in XPDL.
I need to export a set of extended attributes and their associated values to set of exisitng bizagi mappings. I tried using the XML Export/Import process for attributes, but that couldnt export/import the values.
So I tried exporting a XPDL file with all the attributes and values, but while importing it created a new process file but it didnt add attributes to the existing process flow.
Also tried by exporting a XPDL file and renaming the file as XML and then importing the XML file, but that failed with an error. Please suggest.

Have you any plans to implement the export of tables (extended attributes) using XPDL in nearest next versions?
Dear Nerijus,
Importing or exporting table values or additional information which is not actually part of the XPDL standard is not planned for the near future.
Best regards,

Dear Tlik,
Thank you for your feedback.
Indeed extended attributes of lanes are not exported into XPDL format.
This goes according to the XPDL specification which does not consider definitions for extended attributes for lanes.
I hope to have clarified your question.
Best regards,

Dear Amitesh,
According to your question, it is possible to import and export extended attributes but Bizagi does not support to import or export their values.
