Not a Problem

Bizagi only works with admin users

Bizagi is not working if the account connected to the computer is not an administrator. I'm using it on Windows 10, latest version. I've already tried to reinstall the program. My company's IT support has already analyzed and the problem persists.

Dear Francisco,

Thank you for contacting us with your questions. As you said, the Bizagi Modeler needs admin rights to install and execute properly. That's the way it was implemented, so it is not an error. For example, even from an account with admin rights, you would have to select the option "Run as administrator" for it to work. Now, even if the account you can access in the computer is not admin, your IT department should be able to access the admin rights to install the Modeler app in your computer.

Let us know if you have further questions.

Best regards,

Laura G

Really? So even after it's installed, if a regular user in the company needs to use Bizagi, does IT need to open a huge security hole in the company's systems by giving him admin access?

Hi Francisco,

No, the admin rights are needed for the installation of the program. Once it is installed there is no need to access admin rights. Is that what is happening to you? Have you installed successfully but you cannot use the program after installation?

It would help if you share with us screenshots of the errors you are receiving or the situation you are experiencing with not being able to use Bizagi Modeler.

Kind regards,

This is happening. Even if the software installed with an adminitrator account, the user with no privileges can't use the software, cause it stucks in the splash Bizagi's Modeler logo

Yes, TI installed it, but I'm still stuck at the login window. Usually this message stays on the screen (captura1), but none of the buttons/links work. In other situations, I can login, but this smaller window (captura2) does not disappear, and I can only view the files that I have saved in the cloud. If I try to close it, the program treats it as if I haven't logged in and asks me to do so, which brings me back to it. If I don't login, the program closes. The program has already been uninstalled, registry data removed, reinstalled in a newer version, but it is impossible to get past the login screen.

Thank you for the clarification. We are sorry this issue is happening for you.

It is not about admin rights when executing the program, though. The connection error should be something temporary, and you might want to check the network requirements for the program to work properly (point 5 of this article: https://help.bizagi.com/process-modeler/en/index.html?bm_requirements.htm)

Not solved with 4.0.0.022

The Bizagi versions 3.9 and 3.4 only runs on Win10 2004. The Windows 10 21H1 don't load the program properly, only if the user is administrator account.

What's the workaround for this issue?

Still waiting for the solution. Already try all other version - including BizagiModelerSetup_4.0.0.022.exe

Does not work, only if the user is machine's administrator
