Batching rules of a task

Hi there,How do I enter in batching rules for each task based on time or quantity? For example, Task A must wait until the end of every 'Friday' or every 7 days before the next task can start, or Task A must complete a quantity of '10' before the next task can start.Thank you.

Dear Diana,

According to your question, you may use Intermediate Events Attached to an Activity Boundary in order to create event like you need. For example, Timer Event. If a Timer Event is attached to the boundary of an activity, it will change the normal flow into an exception flow when a cycle time is completed or a specific time-date is reached. If the Event interrupts the Activity to which it is attached, the boundary of the Event is solid, if not it is dashed.
