"Work on it" button appearing incorrectly

Hi team,

In experience design, for the results of "My Stuff" the template is showing "Work on it" button on the upper right corner, even when there is no activity for the stakeholder to perform.

Dear Santhosh

Please refer to the following article on when the "Work on it" button is displayed.

http://help.bizagi.com/bpm-suite/en/index.html?my-stuff.htm

In the middle of the above article, you should see a note:

Whenever the template is bound to the process entity, the Work on it button will be available (provided that the case is opened and there is an activity allocated to the user).

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Best Regards

Thanks Rajesh for the response.

I have gone through the article prior and again now. As per the article, note says that "the Work on it button will be available (provided that the case is opened and there is an activity allocated to the user). "

My case is Requester requests for a some resource which requires a series of approvals. The activity of the Requester end with raising the request. He doesn't have any other activity to perform. In the experience design of Requester, "Work on it" button should not appear in the pending cases list as Requester is not having any activity to perform.

As per the highlighted sentence above, the case must be open (Yes, Requester's case is open) AND there is an activity allocated to the user (there is no activity allocated to the user or the allocated activity has already finished ie by raising the request). So I believe "Work on it" button should not appear for Requesters experience design of pending cases list.

Please let me know, if you need any further information in this regard.

Dear Santosh

We would like to recommend creating a "Global Form" to display the case information in "Read Only" mode.

This form will be displayed to the user when the user has no pending activities or when the case is closed.

Please refer to the following article for details:

http://help.bizagi.com/bpm-suite/en/index.html?global_and_summary_forms.htm

Hope this helps!

Best Regards

Hi Rajesh,

"Global form" will display to user if he clicks on the "Work on it " button in Me menu and I'm using it already.

My request is that "Work On It" button should not appear in Me menu when I don't have to any work to perform.

If the Bizagi is designed to show it in the same way as it is showing now, then its fine, as we can do nothing for now.
