I've put a rule validation on a add / edit form (for a collection
attribute) and this rule is not tested when i save my row (and not
tested when i click on "next" on the main form).
You can define Validations at collection level to evaluate conditions over specific table's cells. For further information: http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?validations_on_collections.htm
Also, you can check this article: http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?add_validation_expression.htm
Thank you for your answer.
I know but it's really not ergonomic to do this on the collection when you have 20 rows and the user has to see which row has the problem.
Is it not possible to do validation on the edit form ?
I think that the best way to do what you want is to add the validation of the added form and do not use inline add/edit.
Another way is to create an expression just down where you create forms for a collection.
I'm not using the inline edition but edition with a form.
I'll test your proposition of validation.
OK, the validation is working (expression definied under the name of the add / edit form).
Thank you for your help.
If it's not a problem, the possibility to define validation rules in the edit / add form shoud be deleted (as it's not working)
You are right. We will analyze it according your experience. Regards
