Time out on the Perform Activity method

I tried to perform an activity on BizAgi from a external application, but, on the performActivity´s response I took that after about 30s:

<processId>0</processId>

<processError>

<errorCode>767</errorCode>

<errorMessage>Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.\nThe statement has been terminated.</errorMessage>

</processError>

<CurrentWorkItems></CurrentWorkItems>

. Can I change this time out configuration?

. This method is used to work, I didn´t do anything on the BizAgi project and external application when this error starts to happen. What is the possible cause of this?

Dear Filippe

The TimeOut is a property of the Service Task that allows to define a maximum interval n seconds, in which the execution of the asynchronous task is possible; the system automatically cancels the operaton when the time is reached.

You can set this TimeOut in the basic properties tabs of the service task (see image below)

timeouto

Concerning the cause of the error, please check if you recently installed a windows security update, or some antivirus / firewall that can be blocking the communication between Bizagi and the external application.

Luis Emilio,

The time out doesn´t happen in a service task, this is a manual task that I can try to perform from a external application using the Web Service PerformActivity.

Could you halpe me?
