Send Notification to User who is assigned to next task

I would like to send an email to the user who is assigned to the next task. However, because task allocation doesn't occur until the next task, there doesn't appear to be a way to send an email to the user who is being assigned to this task. Can someone confirm if this is true? Or, hopefully, explain how I can send an email to the user who is assigned to the next task?

The closest I've gotten is creating an expression, on enter, of the next task. This expression returns the user who had the previous task assigned.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Dear D'Marquis

Bizagi provides "Automatic Notifications" when a task has been assigned.

Please refer to following article for additional details.

Hi Rajesh - Thank you for the reply!

Automatic notifications are global and therefore do not provide as much customization as my organization is seeking. I know that you can include some case-specific details like the case number, but more specific details that are held in the data model cannot be included.

Do you know of another way to achieve this?

Currently, I'm working on a solution that includes creating a new collection that would allow me to filter through the list of users with the "getUsersInRole" function. I'm not sure if it'll work, but it's something that I'm working on.
