Problems with getting my process models in the Bizagi Suite Xpress
I’m using Bizagi Process Modeler and the Bizagi Studio Xpress Edition for my graduation project. Currently I’ve encountered some problems with the software and I hope to find some solutions and answers to my questions.
1. Since the last update of the Bizagi Process Modeler (version 2.5) and the Bizagi BPM Suite Xpress (version 10.1) the “Run Workflow” button in the Process Modeler doesn’t work. When I open a process model (or make one on the spot) and push the “Run Workflow” button nothing happens. I checked my security software settings and nothing is blocking the Bizagi software. To make sure of this I tried this on multiple computers with different security software. Next to that in the older version of Bizagi Process Modeler the “Run Workflow” button is working correctly for smaller process models.
2. When I use the older version of the Bizagi Process Modeler (version 2.4) and the Bizagi BPM Suite Xpress (one version before 10.1) the “Run Workflow” model is working for small process models. However when I work with larger process models that are necessary in my thesis the Bizagi BPM Suite crashes and pop-up appears which states Bizagi Studio (Xpress AnyCPU) has stopped working (I attached a snapshot of the pop-up). Is there a fix for this error that keeps happening with the older version of the PM and the Suite?
3. Is there a limit to the size of the process models if you want to use them in the Bizagi Suite? I’m working with models that have a lot of subprocesses, in total around the 30 subprocesses in a process model.
4. As a solution to the not working “Run Workflow” button I tried recreate the model directly into the Bizagi Studio, however I found that the process modeler inside the Bizagi Studio is different (has less options) and I have trouble editing the subprocesses this way. Is there a way to add and edit subprocesses in this process modeler (the normal buttons for editing the subprocess doesn’t work)?
Hopefully I can get some helpful feedback so I can continue using Bizagi products within my graduation project. I already invested a lot of time in modeling my processes in the Bizagi Process Modeler and would like to see these processes being properly expanded as working workflow models.
I really appreciate any help you can provide.
