Problem while deploying to test environment - Project not installed

Dear Bizagi-Team,

I'm starting a new thread because the problem described in the original thread (http://feedback.bizagi.com/suite/en/responses/database-version-undefined-is-not-supported) has changed.

As I already mentioned in the other thread my problem consists of an error message during the deployment process from development to test. The error message occurs between the screens "Executing Deployment - creating project" and "Deployment - Deployment finished" (see manual)

The old error message was "Project not installed" but now the error still exists and the error message is blank?! (both error messages are attached)

I'm trying to deploy on a second computer and I also checked the IIS settings several times.

Here is what I tried to get the deployment process working:

- correct IIS installation on both computers (Firewall on and off)

- a complete new installation of a third computer for the BizagiExpress development environment

- a complete new installation of the test environment computer

- direct network connection between the two computers (Firewall on and off)

- even tried virtual machines

- update of BizagiExpress v.10.1.0.1020 to v.10.2.0.1030 (development and test environment) including an update of the development projects

things I noticed:

- some data is written into the Bizagi test environment "projects"-folder during deployment

- also some data is written into the Bizagi test environment SQL-Server during deployment

My computer settings are:

Windows 7 Professional SP1 (64Bit),

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.93GHz,

4GB RAM

Thanks for your reply

Dear Stefan,

Could you please send us some log files from both servers: local and remote?

  • The files are: BizAgiOperationServiceTrace_xxxx.log from C:\Program Files\Bizagi\Bizagi Xpress\ServerOperationsService

Thanks in advance

Thanks for your quick reply. I attached the logfiles for both development and testing.

While gathering the logfiles I had a brief look into one of them and I found some kind of message that says "error creating database".

Is there the possibility that Bizagi is not allowed to create a folder called "tmpDply" inside the system32-folder? It's just a guess from my side.

I'm glad that you so consistently take care of the problem.

Thank you so much.

Best regards,

Stefan Münch

Dear Stefan,

Bizagi requires that the users who runs Bizagi to have in both machines Administrators rights and be in Administrator and Bizagi Group. I guess the problem is rights in the second machine.

Please verify that the user has rights in administrators and Bizagi groups.
