Parameter Entity Log (Value Change)

Is there a possibility to check/view value change log (history) in a parameter entity record? If yes how?

Dear Mustafa,

There is a entity called entitylog, which is an audit table of entity values.

Although we selected the enable entity log option in environment options for all environments, the attriblog and entitylog tables are always empty. No record is inserted there.

We are using 10.6.1.2075 - 64 bit version of Bizagi and 11.2.0.4.0 - 64bit version of Oracle.

What is missing here?

Dear Mustafa,

You are making a query to attriblog instead of entitylog.

EntityLog table is also empty in both dev and test environments, although enable entity log is selected for both of them.

Hi Juan,

For all parameter entities "Register operations to the Log" is/was selected and it does not log to EntityLog table.

Hi Juan,

Our problem is still could not be solved.

In fact we tried it by creating a new empty project and it occurred again. If you follow the steps below, the problem can be reproduced.

Bizagi Version: 10.6.1.2075 64 Bit

Oracle DB Version: 11.2.0.4.0 - 64bit

  1. Created an empty JEE project
  2. Created an empty process
  3. Created an empty process entity
  4. Created a parameter entity
  5. Added 2 attributes to parameter entity (i.e Key & Value)
  6. Defined one of the attributes as business key (i.e Key)
  7. Published the project (JBoss App. Server)
  8. Opened Parameter Entity page (Entities)
  9. Added parameter entity instances.
  10. Checked the EntityLog table but there is no log record there.

Dear Mustafa,

Thank you very much for these steps. We could reproduce it. We have escalated to our product team. As soon we get news, we will write back.

Dear Mustafa,

To solve this issue in JEE projects, you should activate the ENTITY_LOGS key to true in the configuration file called bizagi-extended.properties, located in BIZAGI_HOME \ BizagiBPMJEE \ bizagi-config \ bizagi-extended.properties. By default, this flag comes off. For future releases, this key will come true as default.
