No LDAP Sync Schedule's Job

My company just installed the Bizagi for a trial. I have followed the guideline to configure the ldap authentication and synchronization in development environment. I tested the ldap in "Test Results" window and it can find the users. However, I didn't see any schedule job in the scheduler so I cannot import the ldap users to Bizagi (Already restarted the scheduler service). Anyone can provide the advise for ldap configuration?

On the other hand, if there are about 2000 users in AD, can i import all of them at once if we use Xpress edition?

Dear Francisyu,

In the following image:

ldap01_zoom75

The attribute name: Synchronization hour, you need to set a number from 0 to 23 in order to start the job. This job does not appear into the management console. After you have set it, you need to restart the scheduler in order to take changes. For further information: importing_users

You can download our last release in order to get full functionalities and features. In this version, you will be able to import all users from your LDAP Server. It means all you have.

Dear Francisyu,

To answer the first question, there is no a particular job where you can see, because the scheduler service works internally. if you prefer, you can active traces to check LDAP (error_control_and_diagnostics).

In order to solve your synchronization problem, please send us a screenshot of your basic configuration and the log of the trace which you can find in: C:\Bizagi\Xpress\Projects\[BizagiProject]\Trace

To answer the second question, yes, you can import all of them. Please check it: http://www.bizagi.com/en/products/bizagi-bpm-suite/download/compare-editions.

Thank you in advance,

Thanks for your advise. I fixed the LDAP synchronization problem. However, there are only 10 users enabled in the developing environment when 20 users are imported because of the license limitation. I am concerning that the Express edition can only make the first 50 users to be activated and the rest will be inactivated when import from LDAP, am i right?

Furthermore, if i enable the ldap authentication, how can i set one of the imported AD users to be a administrator like the "admon" account?

Dear Francisyu,

If you implement LDAP Authentication, you can use it without import users (http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?ldap.htm). If you already imported users, you can use Mixed Authentication or Bizagi Authentication (http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?mixed_authentication.htm or http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?bizagi_authentication.htm).

You need to wait a time while Bizagi Operation Services finish to import all users. You said that there are 2000 users. After that, you need to enter as Admon and enable or disable user from User Administration: http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?users_administration.htm.

Finally, you need to set up rights for users because when you create or import users, all of them are Administrators. Please check security: http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/work_portal_security.htm
