"My first process" example not working as it should

Hi,

I went through the full automation exercise for the example "My first process" for implementing the Vacation leave request. It was smooth during design. When I did the test running, the initial form loads, by the field "Request date" which should be auto filled with today's date does not show any date. Further more when I fill in the start and end dates of the vacation in the form, somehow the dates do not get saved!

This causes the form to be always not dismissing as part of the input is still missing as far as Bizagi is concerned.

I tried all what I could do: setting the request date (<Today>) as the default value in a start event form, or provoking the action of date setting upon exit from the first task in stead of upon entry, setting the request date manually and not through the <Today> function. It all failed.

Please help.

Dears,

I did the following and it solved the issue:

1- Unistalled everything (modeller and studio)

2- Uninstalled the IIS express which was on my machine already

3- Went carefully through the installation of IIS detailed in the Studio help file

4- downloaded the most recent studio version and installed it

5- Re-initiated the project and DID NOT CHANGE THE DEFAULT LOCATION OF THE PROJECT (C:\bIZAGI\PROJECTS)

6- re-drew the process and worked out the whole scenario

It is producing now the desired output as per the help file. You can close this complaint.
