It's not possible to publish workflows to MediaWiki

Dear Sir or Madame,

unfortunately its not possible for us to publish our workflows to MediaWiki. We are using the following setup on our server:

  • Windows Server 2012 R2
  • PHP Version 5.4.24
  • MySQL Version 5.1.72
  • MediaWiki Version 1.25.1

The users have the rights to upload files and I tried every solution you suggested in other threads in this forum here. Additionally, we can't downgrade the versions of MediaWiki, MySql and PHP because this would cause security issues for our server. If we try to publish a process we get the error message: "Login failed. Check your username and password."

We thank you in advance for your help.

Yours sincerely

Dear Achim,

According your question, we support the following MediaWiki combinations with PHP (http://help.bizagi.com/processmodeler/en/index.html?publish_to_wiki.htm):

  • Wiki 1.14.x with PHP 5.2.17
  • Wiki 1.15.x with PHP 5.2.17 and 5.3.10
  • Wiki 1.16.x with PHP 5.2.17 and 5.3.10
  • Wiki 1.17.0 with PHP 5.2.17 and 5.3.10

Versions 1.17.1, 1.17.2 y 1.17.3 are not supported

  • Wiki 1.18 with PHP 5.2.17 and 5.3.10
  • Wiki 1.19 with PHP 5.3
  • Wiki 1.20 with PHP 5.3
  • Wiki 1.21 with PHP 5.3
  • Wiki 1.22 with PHP 5.3

As workaround, you can publish to web and then upload to your mediawiki as a static web page.

Regards

Hi,

what do you mean by "upload to your mediawiki as a static web page"?

How can I upload the Web-publish-export (including the subfolders) into mediawiki, so that it is protected by the usermanagement of the mediawiki?

I have a closed company-internal mediawiki and want the processes to be linked within the wiki, so that collegues who are logged-in into mediawiki can see them. If somebody knows the direkt link into the mediawiki-subfolder without being logged-in he should be rejected.

Thanks in advance

Dear Volken,

The idea of it is to create an iframePage on the wiki to include the published web (Use Publish to Web option: http://help.bizagi.com/processmodeler/en/index.html?publish_to_web.htm and upload the result to your server like: /MyProcess/]/MyProcess/]http://[Server]/MyProcess/ ).

To do this, follow this article: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:IframePage. For example:

  1. $wgIframePageSrc = array( 'Modeler' => 'http://[Server]/MyProcess/' );

Thanks Juan, we have the same problem. Do you plan to add support for new versions of mediawiki ? When?

Thank you very much in advance.
