Is it possible to store reference data that would be common to all processes ?

Hi,

I need to refer to some semi-permanent data when i'm executing a process.I thought it would be easy to use a "not linked to anything" parameter entity to handle this.... But i don't manage to link this entity to a list in a form. The entity seems simply not to exist if it's not linked to a master entity. As an example :- I need to choose from a list of defined products the one i want to use with my current process.- I wish to be able to manage this products list within Bizagi. Is it possible to do that ?How ?(Of course, it would be scriptable but i need to know if there is another way...)Regards,Philippe

Dear Philippe,

It is common to use replication and/or virtualization for all processes and then include the control into the form as you need.

Another point is to access to entities that are not related with the process.

But i don't know how to populate a list in form with this type of data.

Dear Philippe,

There is an example to populate a collection, but no a list. This article can help you: obtain_and_use_entity_values.

Thanks for your answer,

Too bad it's not possible to populate a list programmaticallly.

It would be easy to cycle through any collection on a "On Enter" event and populate a listbox with the data collected before it's displayed.

Dear Philippe,

In order to give you a solution of this question, please give us further information. Maybe we have misunderstood your question.

The another question is why you want to use the script to populate a listbox if you can include the same parameter table for all your processes.
