Is Bizagi Community Forum moderation necessary?

I'm not sure about the feeling of other users, but must all comments really be vetted (and delayed)?

If it ever became a problem, then yes - moderation for every comment would be a logical solution, but, why not leave it up to us users to report any transgressions?

Why not ask / poll currently registered users?

Most users will be 'professional'. Why not give it a try (or, is it a regional law or something?)?

Dear Darrylle,

Yes. It is necessary to avoid spam attacks and check user inregular conducts according the second point of our terms of use. For further information: http://www.bizagi.com/en/terms-of-use

The moderation works when someone write a new comment or create a new post, after it is allowed, the user can write as many comments as he wants without moderation on this thread.

Juan,

Thank you for your response.

I'd like to note that many other 'support' sites allow instant publication (and have done so for many years) without problems.

The fact is, a response that I posted on another (already moderated) topic - also took 3 days to appear, by which time - it was completely irrelevant because other responses also had to wait 3 days - placing responses out-of-order and out-of-context.

I would like it to be noted by Bizagi that this lengthy delay detrimentally affects the user experience.

Darrylle

Dear Darrylle,

We used to have this enabled option, but we have had some many spam attacks. In fact, we are still receiving spam attacks.

Due to the dynamic nature and the volume of posts, Bizagi is not able to immediately approve all content transmitted on the forum.

Thank you Juan,

That is a comprehensive answer that truly answers my original question and makes sense.

I'm not sure how to 'close' this question, but I consider it answered.

Juan,

Please advise how long a topic should be on Moderation for before it is posted. Mine has been "In Moderation" for 6 days already.

Thanks
