Installing SQL Server in separate machine
I need to install the BPM Server and the SQL Server on separate machines.
I have successfully completed the "Workshop for Product Evaluation" guide, but I used the "sa" user and the default password on the local machine (BPM and SQL Servers run on localhost).
What is the exact process on doing the same thing but having the SQL Server run on separate machine?
My understanding is that I need to do the following things:
- Manually setup the BPM Server ( http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?prerequisites_iis.htm
) on the respective machine.
- Manually setup the SQL Server on the other machine ( http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?prerequisites_sqlserver.htm )
- While setting up the project on the BPM Server, specify the IP, the database and the user credentials to use in order to connect to the remote SQL Server while on the 'Model Data' step by pressing the 'Virtualized Entity' ( http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?using_the_virtualization_wizar.htm ). In the Virtualization Wizard I will specify in the 'Database Server' the IP:PORT\DATABASE-NAME attribute and I will fill in the Username and Password as process_admin_user and process_admin_password (as they were created in the step http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?prerequisites_sqllogins.htm )
Are the above steps correct? Have I missed anything that needs to be done?
