How can I convert date object to string in bizagi widget editor?

In my widget I need to retrieve the value in properties.value (which is a date value) and convert it into a string to manipulate it. My code seems to work fine on the widget editor with a static string in the simulationData.json but when I tried my widget in bizagi studio it didn't work because the retrieved object is a date object and I cannot convert it to a string. Could you please tell me how to convert it to a string?

Dear Reem,

Please share your source code where you receive the date object and try to convert it to string.

We look forward to hearing from you

The getReadonlyControl function crashes when i use it in bizagi studio bacuase of the split function.The output is correct but it crashes in the form designer. However when I use a static string it works fine. I couldn't upload the .bwg file. This is the calendar.js code without the included library.

Dear Reem,
To solve it, you can exclude the following code of the widget into the modeler form in order to avoid the error:

  1. var mode=self.getMode(); if (mode=="execution") {
