Exit form without creating a case

Hi,

Please can you advise how you can exit the first form in a process without creating a case?

The scenario is that a supplier must be selected before a PO can be raised so this is asked for on the first form. If the supplier is not on the list they need to exit and follow (the currently manual) supplier set up process. I don't want this to start a new case as it's likely the user will just start a new case once the supplier has been added several days later.

Thanks

Amber

Dear Amber

In Bizagi, one can create Start Forms to launch a new case instance temporarily, and allow end users to confirm the process creation when they are certain of this action, or closing the form without confirming to avoid unnecessary case creation.

Please refer to following article for details:

Hi,

Thanks for this. I copied my form into the start task, but it said I needed to create a case to access some of the information in the form. So I decided against this approach for this process. Then I started to have problems...

I deleted the content on the start form, but it kept displaying the empty start form in the work portal. I thought the only way to get rid of it would be to edit the process model by removing the start task and adding another start task back in. Since I have done this I cannot even create a case

I get the following error when I click new case:

Error Type: FormatException

Error Message: Unrecognized Guid format.

Any ideas on what I need to do to fix this?

Thanks

Ignore last 2 responses - it seems closing everything down and restarting stopped the error message
