Error with step 8 of my first process? [SqlException (0x80131904)

Hi, I am currently working through the First workshop and in step 8, after clicking on "Run Process", the page loaded displays an error:

Cannot open database "Vertical" requested by the login. The login failed.
Login failed for user 'EMEA\schadwick2'.

I am having great difficulty finding out how to fix this issue. I am using sql 2008 R2 and i believe the issue may be with how I connected to the server during "Run Workflow" in the modeler, where I used a different login to the one that is having the issue here. If this is the issue, guidance on how to resolve this would be greatly aspirated. Below I have copied the full stack trace. Thanks for any help that you may be able to provide.

Dear Sam,

If you used the quick start options, you may use the SQL Server database that Bizagi Studio installs. This database is detected automatically, so you should only need to verify the default connection credentials which are:

  • Login name: sa
  • Password: Bizagi10GO

To access the Work Portal click the Run button in Bizagi Studio's Home Tab or in the seventh step of the Process Wizard. workportal33_zoom76Regards

I have the same problem, and cannot follow your answer. Where do I verify my login credentials? I don't think I am using the quick install sql server from Bigazi, since I had en sql server running allready on my machine.

Pleas help!

Dear Holger,

According to the document, The eight point is Work Portal. Be sure to have installed the IIS correctly according this article: http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?prerequisites_iis.htm

If you have already installed the IIS, then process to restart it with the command iisreset.exe.

If the problem continues, please send us further information of the problem.

Dear Juan,

I have a similar problem, IIS can not connect to SQL (see the trace stack attached).

I'm using the standard instalation (IIS and SQL Server 2008 Express).

Note: I can succesfully acces the database from other software like Aquadata (using "sa" and "Bizago10GO").

Thanks in advance for your help.

Dear Jurgen,

The first step you need to follow is the same article of IIS installation. After that, tell us if Bizagi Studio is in the same server where database is. I guess that there is a connection problem between IIS and Database.

We look forward
