Error bizagi studio and bizagi modeler

I have had some problems with Bizagi studio and Bizagi Modeler.

I have a Win Server 2003 with Bizagi Studio using IIS and Oracle and Win 7 as work station wiht Bizagi Modeler. However if I create a process in my work station it's don't work in my Server and vice versa. To work station from server it show an error "cannot open the model, it was created a new version of Bizagi Modeler" To server from work station it show an error "The file is invalid or corrupt".

In both cases I have the lastet version, downloaded by bizagi site.

Is it a correct whay to use these apps?

Dear Marcelo,

According to use these apps, the best way is to have Modeler and Bizagi on the same machine. Doing this, you will be able to use a particular function called "Run Workflow".

There is another way to import models to Bizagi Suite. The .bpm in the 1.6 version is used to save a model that will be imported to our Bizagi BPM Suite to be automated and turned into a running application (workflow).

Hi Juan. Even open a project generated by modeler, I can´t run use the "Run workflow". When I click it, it go to a bizagi website or bizagi help. I look out how to configurate it, but I couldn't find it.

It's look that an application do not "talk" to other.

Dear Marcelo,

Be sure to have both apps in the same machine. Modeler is able to identify if Suite is installed on the same machine, then you will work with the wizard according the article.

Hi Juan thanks for answer.

Well. Let me see that I understood.

I need intall Bizagi Studio and Modeler on the same PC? Bisazi Studio has a Modeler to.

Each final user needs Bizagi Studio to? This user will only modeling the process.

I thought Bizagi Studio needs to be installed on a Server like windows server, and a Modeler on a PC. It's not to clear to me.

Other possible doubt is. If i really need Bizagi Studio on PC, the users will need the data base credentials. It's is not a good thing.

Thanks.

Dear Marcelo,

It is one way to do it. Another way is to save the model as 1.6 version. Then, you can import it into the Bizagi Studio without problem.
