Entity-data is lost between subprocesses in Bizagi Engine

I have created a main process consisting of two re-usable subprocesses (which are Integrated), each subprocess having 2 human activities. I have created one master entity (with two attributes), which I am using in all activities in both sub-processes, when creating forms in Bizagi Studio.

When running the process in Bizagi Engine, I am entering data into both attributes in subprocess 1 for activity one and when opening activity two, all data entered in activity one still remains and is displayed.

When opening activity one in subprocess 2, then all data has disappeared ... this problem started when I upgraded to Bizagi v10.6.1.2075 (for x64) having release-date "April 1, 2015".

I need some urgent help here, as I am presenting an executable process to a customer day after tomorrow.

Dear Veikko,

Sub-processes may or may not have the same Process Entity as their Parent process. Thus, to access the parents case's information you must consider the context of both processes to evaluate how to navigate the data model. Reusable Sub-processes may or may not have the same Process Entity as the Parent process.

  • If the sub-process has the SAME Process Entity as the Parent process, the information of the Parent process will be available in the exact same XPath. The data navigation will not change form one process to the other.

  • If they do NOT have the same Process Entity: ✓The information of the Parent Process is not accessible from the Sub-process.

Thanks for your quick response!

I have attached my sample process for your convenience .

So where do I tell Bizagi Studio that all my subprocesses shall use the same process entity as the parent process?

Dear Veikiko,

According your question, yoy can implement in both sub-process an expression according the article I posted.

Keep in mind that Bizagi manages contexts. A process is a context and a sub-process is another context.
