Email Recipients

What is the easiest way to add the email recipient address to be a user (within wfuser) with a specific Area and/or Position e.g. Send an email to the Head of Department for the Energy Department. In much the same way you can assign performers to tasks to meet certain criteria, how can you do the same for email recipients?

Dear Thompson,

You can configure sending several messages in a single E-mail with different content depending on a set of conditions. That is, in a single E-mail you can include several templates with a condition attached to each one. Bizagi evaluates each condition and sends the templates that meet the conditions.

I do not need a condition to send the email. The email must go out always. I need to specify that the recipient is a user (registered in wfuser) with a specific Area and Position. It only seems to allow a recipient email addresses to be a fixed address or an attribute in database. I would like to specify a user with specific requirements (similar to what you can do in Performer conditions).

Dear Thompson,

According your question, you need to add a relationship with wfuser. For example, employee. Doing this, then you you will be able to select through Xpath the email of the employee.

Click on To button and then select the Xpath of the relation:

Note: If you need to select the user depending a position and/or area, then you need to use rules.

ok thank you. There is not really a relationship between the case and the various users representing the various departments that must comment on each application. I guess I will just have to hardcode their email address into the To address of the emails.
