Dynamic link that creates current Year and current Month folders

Hello,

Can I put a link in a form that will dynamically create a new month folder and year folder (according to the current month and year?). It's intended to be a link that will navigate the user to a specific folder on the local server, but this folder will change each month, so I would like Bizagi to automatically create this new folder each month.

In

the above example, if it's December then once the user clicks the

dynamic link Bizagi would create a folder on the local server with the

following name: 2015-12, and navigate the user into this folder.

If it's a new year, it will do two things:

1. Create a "2016" folder for the year

2. Create a "2016-01" sub folder for the month

(and navigate the user into this sub folder)

The dynamic link would perhaps look something like this:

......\Executive Meetings\{current year}\{current year}-{current month}

P.s. This is a process that we do once a month.

Thanks for your help!

Dear John,

According your request, it is not possible. You can create an idea to be developed in a future release, Now, to save documents that have been attached in cases, there are two alternatives: One is to use ECM integration: (http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?ecm.htm) or another is to save files in the same server where Bizagi is installed or own repository: (http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?file_type_attributes_info.htm).

Regarding your needs, we recommend ECM integration because it has more possibilities to publish and share files. If you decide to save files in the own repository, Bizagi uses its own structure. It is saved in one of the folders created by Bizagi to organize the documents that belong to each case. These folders are created by default in the docs directory that can be found in the folder of the web application server, whose path by default would be:

  • ·C:\Bizagi\Projects\ApplicationName\WebApplication\Docs

PS: The structure cannot be modified.
