Deployment to Test Environment Error Constrained data

Hi,

I have finished my bizagi project in development, and run smoothly in bizagi dev environment but when I deploy to Test environment there is one error occurred in Summary of Problem:

Column 'idCompany' is constrained to be unique. Value '305' is already present.

I guess the error because conflicted data so I deleted all data in Company parameter table and related data but when I deploy the error still occured.

Anybody please help me asap!

Dear Giang,

This message is because there is already a register with the same value: ´305´. You need to verify the company table in order to analyse and fix it.

Please give us details of the bug that you are facing. How can we reproduce it?

We look forward to hearing from you

Dear Juan Zuluaga,

I found that error because when deployment bizagi wizard get more than data existed in parameter table by join current with the others ( I guess an table contain foreign key).

Because I use Advance Deploy and check that result is there are too many data (ghost data) in parameter table.

I try to find a way to get true data. Because the number of data is big!

Dear Giang,

Bear in mind that if you deploy your process using Advanced Deploy, then you cannot deploy it using one click deploy.

Dear Juan,

Got it Juan, but my problem there are some ghost data generated when using deployment tool. If I know exactly bizagi deployment wizard join which table with parameter table I can amend data and using deployment tool.

I deploy my project success without attached data it only wrong when deploy within attached data in parameter table.

Dear Giang,

Regarding your question, you can select if the administration of the parameter entity is from development or from production. Each parameter entity has in its advanced properties, a definition that states if that particular entity is designed to be managed either in the Production environment or the Development environment.

Therefore, it is recommended to review in depth which parameter entity's values require deployed into Production.

Notice that a parameter entity cannot be managed in both Development and Production environment; it is necessary to select one environment to manage (insert, edit or disable) the entity values.

parameteradministration

For the first deployment, all the values for the parameter entities can be taken from the Development environment into the Production environment (regardless of this definition).

In further deployments (when Production already exists), only the values of parameter entities which are managed in the Development environment are updated and taken into the Production environment.

For more information about defining or reviewing parameter entities managed in Production, refer to Where to Manage parameter entities.

Dear Juan,

In the case data of parameter entity cannot be deleted. I suggest bizagi remove delete function in parameter value in bizagi studio. The error occur because when input data for parameter my team member delete some records that the reason we can not get right data for generated in bizagi deployment process.

Best Regards,

Dear Giang,

We understand what you mean, however, the delete option only deletes register logically. We recommend to modify those values to be the correct ones.
