Cannot open existing remote project on my client machine

I've triple checked and made sure my user account is in both the Bizagi group and the Administrators group on my local machine, but still receive an authentication error when entering the remote server name. I am on the same network as the remote server.

Then, if I try to sign in using my network credentials, the application stops responding until I receive a message stating the connection attempt failed because the connected party did not respond.

You need to verify that Bizagi Operation Service is up in both machines.
