Bizagi Server requirements

I'm following this article : http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?requirements_xpress.htm

  • what's the difference between a bpm server and a database server? Does this mean i need two servers ?
  • Can i use a different type of processor other than the Xeon dual core , for instance a Core i3 or i5 processor?

Dear Ahmad,

The differences about BPM server and SQL server are that you have the logic and implementation of business processes in one server and your data in another server. Doing this, you will have the application to be fast and agile. Each server will have its functions and thus will process the information much faster. You should be aware that these characteristics apply when you have a considerable number of users. If you have few users can integrate, but whether they will do a significant amount, we suggest having the two servers.

We suggest to have Xeon dual core, however you can use any of those. Again, If you have few users can use any of them, but whether they will do a significant amount, we suggest having Xeon dual core.
