Add information automatically into my forms

Hi there.

I have a formulary with a number of non-editable fields and one listfield.

For the entries in the listfield I have added parameter entities (details follow).

For example the name of a student. So I can choose one student with the help of the listfield.

Now I want that the other non-editable fields show more informations of the chosen student dynamicaly.

For example the age and the city. But the cities are in another relation, so i linked them to the entity.

At the backend of Bizagi I can choose the city and the age for each student. It looks like this:

sven - 22 - new york

horst - 23 - washington

paul - 27 - houston

But I don't know what to define in the form, that the cityfield shows New York when I have chosen Sven at the listfield on the same form.

I have read a lot of expressions, but I really don't know where to look in detail.

Dear ETCBebbe,

You may define in your form's combobox properties a desired display attribute.

If these attributes are not really in that same entity (but on another one), then you could include additional fields in your form (as non-editable) that show further information (for example, the city).

This fields will be updated once you change the selection of your combo, if you enable the combo's "Submit on change" property.

Thank you. That's exact the thing I searched for.
