Hi,,I need to know the way that simulation process runfirst, when I choose the arrival = 20 and the arrival intervals = 3and the first task execution time = 2.4 minutesif the arrivals are Poisson or exponentially distributed and the processing time is exponentially distributed the resulted waiting time for this task in bizagi = 0even if it seems no waiting time , but according to little theory there will be awaiting timearrival rate =20 , service rate = 25 waiting time = 9.6 minutesince the arrivals are exponentially distributed that means that thay may arrive at the same time????

What may be happening is that your model is simulated at level 2, there shall not have timeouts. If you are simulating at level three, make sure to have one resource assigned to the task, and only 1 resource is available in the process. The third thing is that there are very few tokens to simulate. You said that the model is using 20, we would suggest using at least 100. In summary:

  1. Simulate at level 3
  2. Defining a resource for addressing Task 1 and a resource available to the whole process.
  3. Use at least one Max.arrival count of 100 (the initiating event).
  4. Use data arrival interval = 3 and the task execution time = 2.4 exponentially distributed. Must be submitted timeouts.
