Bizagi Process Modeler supports the current BPMN version, which is BPMN 2.0.

For more information about BPMN 2.0, review: http://www.omg.org/spec/BPMN/2.0 .

Just sprinkle a bit of salt on the above:

  • You can't have nested lanes, although it's supported in the BPMN2.0 specs
  • You don't have some symbols, like "collection data input" to name one
  • You can't import or export a bpmn2.0 file

Appart from that, it supports most of bpmn2.0 indeed and models very smoothly.

I am trying to understand how the current Bizagi Process Modeller version supports BPMN 2.0. It doesn't include any of the new symbols from 2.0 such as the different type of tasks, single line for task, double line for transactions, dotted line for event sub-process, plus the new data symbol as mentioned above. Are there any plan to expand the type of symbols in Bizagi??

Dear Bernadette,

Indeed a few set of the newest symbols are in our road map.

Please note that Collection Data Input and Event Sub Processes are supported.

To specify them, use the Data object and Sub Process properties as shown below:

1) Collection Data Input:

iscollection

2) Event Sub Process:

eventsubprocess
