Dear Ahmed,

Yes, our support team contacted you to this email: 'ahmed.laswad@XXXXXXXX.com'. By now, according the problem, please follow the following considerations:

Before creating a simulation

model take into account the following considerations:

·

The following BPMN elements are not supported by the

simulation engine:

o

Multiple events: Start, Intermediate and End.

o Complex gateways.

o

Event based gateways followed by none intermediate

events or tasks.

o Multiple instance tasks.

o Multiple instance Sub-processes.

·

The following diagrams are not supported by the

simulation engine:

o BPMN Choreography diagrams.

o BPMN Conversation diagrams.

o Transactional process.

o Ad Hoc process.

·

Elements contained in Reusable Sub-processes are not

simulated. If you include a Resuable

Sub-process in your model you will have to set a overall processing time for

the shape. If you want to simulate the logic included within a Sub-process, use

Embedded Sub-processes.

·

Tokens have not data associated, this affects the

mapping of message, signal and link events:

o Message events require message flows to map tokens. Download an example.

o Links and Signal events are mapped based on their names.

Make sure that throw and catch events share the same name.

I have encountered the same problem with Modeler 3.0.0.022 and Windows 10.

I used a very simple flow, Purchase Request, which is on the user guide, replacing sub-process with normal task.

It has no high-level elements that blocks simulation engine.

I tried with other flows, but the results are always same; Simulation failed. "not compliant to BPMN 2.0 and that is supported by Simulation Engine."

Thank you for suggestions.

Dear Hiro,

We require to analyse your diagram in order to find out possible mistakes. For example, Admed´s diagram did not finish the flow:

We recommend to follow these articles:

Please send your model to modeler@bizagi.com. This information will be treated as strictly confidential and the file will be deleted once it is no longer needed

We look forward to hearing from you

Hi ,

I am sorry to have missed your reply for a long time.

I lost my test process which I mentioned, but I tried the attached process to get the same result of "not compliant to BPMN 2.0 and that is supported by Simulation Engine."

I will send the process to you separately.

Regards,

Hiro

Hi,

My team is having the same problem and the same result. We even created a very simple process (one single line) but the simulation still failed. A member of your support team suggested that we download a bug fix, but this did not solve our problem.

Please let us know how this can be solved.

Dear Hiro,

We have received your BPM file and we tested with our latest FIX which simulates without any problem.

In order to solve this problem, you need to upgrade to 3.0.0.022 version: http://www.bizagi.com/en/products/bpm-suite/modeler#downloadmodeler and then, apply our latest FIX: https://bizagi.sharefile.com/d-s32583f78abf4135a according the instruction file.

Hi,

I am sorry to say that nothing changes even after upgrading to 3.0.0.022 (64bits) and applying the fix. Still receiving the error message.

As I told you in the last posted comment, we were able to simulate without any problem. Please tell us the following information:

  • Windows Version
  • If the Modeler is x32Bits or x64Bits

We look forward to hearing from you
