Reviewing and commenting models

I work in a large organization. My team produces process models that need to be reviewed and approved by the management.

I tried using Bizagi Collaboration Models, but as I understand it, it only allows to post comments on diagram elements. We use input/output tables in tasks' extented attributes and those need to be approved as well. Bizagi Collaboration Models doesn't seem to allow posting comments about an element's description or its extended attributes. Only on the element itself.

Additionally, Bizagi Collaboration Models requires every reviewer understand Bizagi and know how to find his way around, which isn't the case for our managers.

The other option we have is to publish the model as a Word document and use Word reviewing and track-changes editing. This works, but it has its shortcomings. It's harder to follow a non-linear model when the published output is linear. Navigating in a model is a lot easier in a process that has been published for web then in a linear document. Also, attaching comments to elements in the diagrams is not easy in Word.

The best way would be to be able to comment directly on the web publication, but I don't see how this could possibly be done.

I'm not familiar with Sharepoint and Wiki publishing, so maybe there's something useful to be done there, but I don't know.

I would like to get thoughts and suggestions about what you find is the best way to collect comments on the diagrams and extended attributes from users which are not familiar with Bizagi Process Modeler.

Thanks!

Dear Alexandra,

The best way to obtain the feedback and approval would be using our

Collaboration feature and maybe introducing the concept with one of our

quick-tour videos to get an idea on how to comment and approve.

Check the video at Bizagi Modeler - Collaboration explained.

Dear Alexandra,

Collaboration comments can be made at three different levels: model, diagram and element, so that team members can comment on the context in each level.
