PDF printer for large diagrams doesn’t produce PDF files, but only .PRN

Dear all!

If I draw a

process diagram I like to have at least the main diagram very large, to have a

better overview and discussions are much easier than with a lot of smaller

papers.

So I was

used to print with a PDF printer (PDF-Creator, Soda, etc.), because only then you

can also create DIN A0 papers. I’ve a lot of those wallpapers in my office.

With the

new installation of the Modeller (Vers. 3.1.0.011) on my new Notebook (W10) it

doesn’t work anymore. Any attempt to create a PDF ends up with a PRN File,

which I can’t use. If the printer starts it shows only PRN file as a possibility.

PDF can’t be chosen.

Has anybody

an idea how to solve this problem??

By the way

I found a workaround: generating a picture (jpg) and then print it with the PDF

printer… but that’s boring! J

Thank you

for helping

Dear Helmut,

Thank you very much for joining to the community. If we

understand what you need, then you need to follow this article to print large

diagrams: http://help.bizagi.com/process-modeler/en/index.html?printing_large_diagrams.htm

We also recommend not to use "preview" when there is a large diagram.

Dear Juan!

Thanks for your advise, but this is not the problem! I always used the preview and a PDF printer. Because with a normal printer driver, you can only chose max. A3 Format. I need A1 or even A0 and this is only possible if the printer driver also supports these formats. And a PDF printer supports also the large DIN formats.

The link you sent unfortunately doesn't help, because I know of course how to format those big diagrams. It works well with a PDF printer and anything looks fine.

My only problem is, that I can't choose the PDF format if I start printing. The "print command" in Bizagi offers only the .prn format!! And that doesn't help, because our plotter/printer can only print PDF!So my question is, if you know why with the new version of Bizagi the PDF is not available anymore. It was no problem in older versions and I've lots of big printings in my office and I did it always with the PDF printer!

Maybe you've an idea???

best regards
