Modelling question

Hi BPMN community,

First of all thank you Bizagi for this great tool! I'm currently working on my master thesis and for this I create BPMN diagrams using Bizagi. I've got a question how to model the following situation.

In activity 1 is determined whether there is more examination and/or data has to be requested. After activity1 there is an information check. If the information is complete the flow ends.

If the information is not complete the information (Which can be data and/or examination) has to be requested by at least one actor (but it can also be requested by multiple actors). For instance in case1 actor1 requests data and actor2 requests data. Case2 actor 2 requests examination and actor3. Case3 only actor3 requests data.

actor1 can request both examination and data

actor2 can only request an examination

actor3 can only request data.

I attached the BPMN model, is it correct? Furthermore should I use conditional flow elements in this case (or an exclusive gateway)?

Kind Regards,

Thomas

Dear Thomas,

According your model , there is a problem in "Request examination" because from the activity starts two flows. Another point is the intermediate events that you are using. The last point is pools. Please follow these articles to solve them:
