Modeler Response times for large models

Hi,

I have a simple but large model and have found the response time of Modeler deteriorate until it is nearly unusable. The model has 27 swimlanes, 40 tasks (no controls) and is 6000x5500pixels. When I move a task it takes several seconds to update the screen and often says "Not Responding" in the Bizagi window. I have another 20 tasks to add but also cannot drag the pool any wider, despite the doco saying the limit is 10,000 pixels.

Just wondering what is causing the slow response and if there is anything (other than break into sub-processes) I can do? Is it the size of the pool, number of lanes, number of tasks? I am running on a WIn 10 Pro machine with 8G and only chrome & Bizagi running. Task manager indicates there is 5GB free, even when I'm experiencing the poor response time.

Any suggestions?

Justin

Dear Justin,

Our team has checked this topic and there is not a solution at the moment. Our team has created it in the backlog to be developed in a future release.

Do you already have a solution for the "not responding" error? Is a pain to work with this problem.

Dear All,

Although you have a fast machine with excellent technical characteristics, you may experience these performance and visualization problems because you are using a 4K monitor or maybe the resolution of your screen is not appropriate for Bizagi Modeler.

Please verify your screen resolution and change until you find the one which accomplishes the expected behavior. Thanks for your understanding.

Best regards.
