Under Consideration

Improvements to Extended Attributes

I have a couple of suggestions that I think would add some great additional functionality to the publishing of Extended Attributes in Bizagi Process Modeler.

Improvement to Multiple Selection Options

Allow the results to be published as a list (for example when publishing to Word) so that instead of the results being displayed as:

Option A;Option B;Option C

They are displayed as:

Option A

Option B

Option C

Top and tail text for each Extended Attribute

Add two new optional text area fields to each extended attribute definition so that we can add some standard text that displays before and after the attribute. When publishing the extended attributes, the layout would be something like:

Attribute Name

Preface text (if populated)

Attribute details

Postface text (if populated)

New Extended Attribute Type of Group

In order to further improve the layout of extended attributes when published, create a new extended attribute type of "Group". This attribute would have a Name, a Preface text area field and Postface text area field. Each Extended Attribute definition should then have a field to optionally link it to a group. When publishing, if any of the attributes linked to the group are populated then, also, publish the group name, preface and postface text.

So when publishing the group, the layout would be something like:

Group Name

Group Preface Text (if populated)

First Linked Attribute Name

First Linked Attribute Preface Text (if populated)

First Linked Attribute Details

First Linked Attribute Postface Text (if populated)

...

Last Linked Attribute Name

Last Linked Attribute Preface Text (if populated)

Last Linked Attribute Details

Last Linked Attribute Postface Text (if populated)

Group Postface Text (if populated)

I think with these changes and improvements, Bizagi would have the potential to easily produce professional and readable output without the need for any manual amendment to the published documentation. I hope you will consider and, ultimately, implement these improvements.
