Dear Josef,

In order to reuse diagrams, you need to export/import as BPMN 2.0 standard. For further information:

Hello Joan,

thats right, i can do this by Export and Import. But this will create a nightmare of problems for the change management.

e.g. If a part in the subprocess is modified, all models, whitch has imported this subprocess has to be modified too!

This is the perfect job creating machine for Change Managers!

A better way is to hold a reference to the subprocess in the process model and when opening this subprocess item, a sub-modeller for this subprocess is started.

Dear Josef,

If you are working on the same file, it will be easier to modify only in one place. At the moment you create a reusable sub-process, you can choose the process of this sub-process. For instance: a common process which is used as a reusable process.

To do this, please follow these steps:

The Element Properties add-on window will display. On the Basic tab, in the Process drop-down list, select the predefined created Diagram.

Hi Juan,

may be i am to stupid, but how gets the subprocesses into the combobox named "Process" of the tab basaisc in the extended attributes?

I have a model. When i insert a subprocess item and define it as reusable subprocess, the combobox "Process" in the Basics property is empty. How and what proceses get into this combobox? There are some subprocesses in other *.bmp files. Hoe can i get theses into the combobox "Process"?

Dear Josef,

You need to have at least two diagrams on the same .bpm file in order to be loaded with one diagram. If you have many diagrams in your current file, you will have the possibility to have more diagrams to select.

Morning Juan,

in other words, it's not possible to reference with the combobox "Process" extrended attributes "Basic" property page to a process/diagramm in another *.bpm ?

Dear Josef,

Exactly. Currently our product does not include this feature. That´s why Bizagi allows you to import/export diagrams in order to join all diagrams in just one bpm file. So, the best way to manage your sub-process is creating those on the same file.

We invite you to use our feedback platform on the ideas space to post your request.

This platform will allow you to share your ideas so that the whole Bizagi BPM Modeler community can vote and discuss them. We want to make sure we solve the needs of our clients, so that we can add the features you consider most important.

Dear Josef,

It´s the same platform, but at the moment to create the post, you must select it as an "idea" instead of problem or question.
